South Pacific

Roots

Moving forward back to the roots.
Migration, movements, immigrants, mustering up a mighty ocean of positive energy. Hacking wisdom. Moving with mystery. Exploration of islands on my horizons. Navigating edges in urban and natural landscapes, epic museums, exploring art and architecture is key to my reason for being.

Northern Hemisphere

1986

Berlin Kreuzberg home base 2019 chapter closed. 33 years. Academic education and life long learning in the deep end of the arts and cultural scene. Merging dynamic change and urban cultural shifts is the baseline of my arts projects and concepts today.

Far East & West Indies

1994

Painting, photography, concepting and writing has been the main expressive medium in all my journeys and travels. My archive holds a select collection of images, film and text from extended travels throughout Europe, the Asian subcontinent and Barbados. My family tree connects the dots to the evolution of cultural fusions.

Place

Crossing continents and ages, enjoying the diversity of culture and history, my favourite places are where I go with the visual flow of natural spaces and creative environments.

Time

A notebook, pencil and a Pentax ME were my favourite devices in the 1970’s and the 1980’s. Various home bases. India, Asia movements. 1986. Enter Berlin art and life.

Print, mixed media between 1989 and 1999. 2000 years from painting to pixels. Discover documentary film making 2003.

2015 from pixels to pigments, enter abstract experiments with light, colours and concepts. Navigate change. 2020 future tendencies = evolution of unplugged.
