The certainty and wisdom of ancient cultures serves as a rooted counterpoint to the uncertainty of our technological future. The visual flash of my work evolves from integrating themes of dynamic change in humanity  and the rituals and cultural powers of the past.

I construct landscapes and situations featuring fusions of natural elements. I use a diverse array of material in paintings, photography and film that seek to infuse the viewer with energy, much as copper functions as a conductor for energy and light.

During the conceptual process, I spend time selecting events and materials that represent the impacts of earthly energy, beyond human interference.
