1. Who is responsible

Sarah Edgehill, Aotearoa New Zealand. Email: studio@sarahedgehill.com. This policy explains what personal data this website processes and why, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Berlin, Germany. When you visit, the server automatically records technical data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website securely (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). These logs are kept only briefly and then deleted automatically by the host.

3. Contact form and email

If you write via the contact form or by email, your name, email address and message are used only to reply to you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The form sends your message by email; it is not passed on to third parties. You can ask for your messages to be deleted at any time.

4. Visitor statistics

This website uses Burst Statistics, a privacy-friendly statistics tool that runs on this website’s own server, in cookieless mode. No cookies are used for statistics, visitors are not recognised across visits, and no data is shared with third parties.

5. Fonts

All fonts are stored on this website’s own server. No connection is made to Google or other font providers.

6. Links to other platforms

Links to YouTube and other websites only open those sites when you click them. Their own privacy policies then apply.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To use these rights, email studio@sarahedgehill.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority in the EU country where you live, or, in New Zealand, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
